Our Roots

I stood at the back bench of someone else's studio, pushing imported, out-of-season stems into blocks of non-biodegradable foam. Twenty-five table centres for one event. The cellophane, the foam dust on my hands, the sheer waste of it. The very thing we made from nature was quietly harming it.

That feeling didn't leave.

Solstice & Stem started with a single pre-order. One bouquet, done properly. I remember carrying it to the door on a warm spring morning — the gentle rustle of brown paper, seasonal stems, nothing forced. No foam. No plastic. It felt right.

Now, Sundays are quiet. No rush to the market at dawn. Just patience, slow deliveries, and people who care where their flowers came from as much as how they look.

We are in no rush. The seasons aren't, either.
